So on Sunday I did the alter appeal which I thought would be my next TikTok when God gave it to me on Saturday as I was driving. But God had other plans. I talked about how I was driving and was passing all of my son's favorite restaurants because he would not open his mouth and tell me what he wanted. God showed me through my son that even though he knows what we have need of before we ask, that he still wanted us to ask. And when you ask you have to believe that you will receive it. When my son asks for things there is no doubt in his mind. He believes and knows that his mom is going to come through. There has even been a time where I have said I did not have it and he was like yes you do go to the bank, Matthew 7:11 says "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" The key is to ask and believe. They go hand in hand. Faith is the substance of things hope for the evidence of things not seen. When you ask, believe that he will do it.
Now let me say this it doesn't work if you don't believe so maybe you need to do as the father of the boy who was possessed by a demon. In Mark 9:24 "I believe; help my unbelief!" Mark 11:24 says "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." You have to open your mouth and say something. The bible speaks of God forming the world with his words. We are in him and he is in us so we shall have what we say. Not only do you have to open your mouth and speak it, but watch what you speak. Don't speak negatively or doubt. Because again you are in him and he is in you and what you say has to come to pass whether it be positive or negative. But open your mouth and say something. How much have you missed out on in the physical and the natural because you would not open your mouth. God has to have a representation in the earth realm to supply everything that we need. How many times was what you needed within arms reach but you missed out on it because you kept your mouth closed? Oowweee, I'm talking to myself. This is cutting me left and right. I desire to have that child-like faith where they aren't worried about if you have it or not. They just know if they ask for it, that they are going to get it. Let that marinate for a few minutes. I said all of that to say this once again, OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND SAY SOMETHING!! And believe that you shall have what you say. Share a time with us when what you spoke or were believing God for manifested.

I got up this morning, prepared to start my day with a quick scroll to Facebook. But got turned around when I saw this blog which has easily become this mornings devotional. There are so many things that God has given me that I didn't ask for amazing and challenging. I git to a point where I didn't ask fir much cause I felt I was close enough that he knew the desires if my heart. But taking a moment to remember that relationships grow as we communicate. God teaches us things even about ourselves when when simply ask. Very grateful for this message and beyond excited about my next big ask from God because I know my faith and relationship with him will be stronger after the test.
There are too many to name. My mantra is He is a good, good Father! I am spoiled. I can count on two fingers when I REALLY wanted and didn’t get it. I am spoiled by my Father!
